Thalgo launches Merveille Arctique product range to complement new ritual

Supplier: Thalgo

More Thalgo details
The ritual is designed to promote 'a deep sense of wellness' by alternating between hot and cold

French spa brand Thalgo has launched a three piece product line to complement its new Merveille Arctique spa ritual.

The ritual incorporates Scandinavian heat therapy with Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques, and relaxing ice bubbles. It is designed to aid relaxation and promote 'a deep sense of wellness' by alternating between hot and cold treatments.

The accompanying product line, which is available as a retail line for guests to continue their treatment at home, consists of an Arctic Shower Foam, Salt Flake Scrub and Milky Moisturising Gel.

The products are formulated with cryo-extract of Boreal Algae, an active marine ingredient which hydrates, remineralises and detoxifies the skin, due to its high content of glucoronic acid, a component of hyaluronic acid, and other marine trace minerals including iodine and calcium.

The Arctic Shower Foam is designed to deliver a sensory shower experience, whilst cleansing, purifying and soothing the skin. It contains starch sugars to improve the skin's protective barrier.

The Salt Flake Scrub contains three different types of exfoliating salt, and is rich in magnesium to to leave the skin soft and smooth and have a calming effect on the body.

The Moisturising Milky Gel is a body gel, billed as a 'real sensory experience', with a fast-absorbing, melting texture, that is designed to intensely hydrate the skin.

Thalgo has also developed a signature fragrance for the collection, inspired by the Arctic, which features floral notes of hyacinth, jasmine, magnolia and orange blossom.

Marian Harvey, managing director of Thalgo UK, says: “Thalgo’s Merveille Arctique ritual and product range introduces a new spa experience, something quite different and innovative which encompasses our professional expertise as well the brand’s sensory signature.

"It provides not only a relaxing element but a deeply exhilarating experience, taking the client on an extraordinary and unexpected sensory journey", she adds.
