Officials at Germany’s Europa-Park, the country's biggest theme park, have revealed that its 2012 expansion will include a major wooden roller coaster.
Supplied by Pennsylvania, US-based Great Coasters International, the park’s 11th coaster will be built in the Icelandic section near the Blue Fire coaster and will go under the name of Mythos.
The 114ft-tall (35m) coaster will feature 3,445ft (1,050m) of track and reach a top speed of just over 62mph (100kph).
A further development at Europa-Park will see the addition next year of a new themed hotel called 'Bell Rock'.
